Coolest Clock EVER!

Occasionally, while sending out sales emails, I happen upon a really cool product or site. Today, I've found the coolest clock ever! I must have one of these clocks, preferably a blue one. Better yet... BOTH! The web site is a bit plain, so I sent the company an email suggesting we swap clocks for services. I'm keeping my fingers crossed....

Don't Fake That Smile

After watching 20 videos of people smiling, I was able to tell if the smile was genuine or fake 14 times! I guess I'm pretty good at reading people's faces. Meanwhile, I think I'm ready for bed. Bella should be calling soon, though....

Whew! I finished the layout. I am rather proud of it. I eliminated a lot of the clutter that was on the old blog. I still have an hour left of school, so I guess I can work on updating the Memorable Entries. But first, there are a couple of behind-the-scenes changes I need to make....

Movin' Right Along

Mood: Pleased

It turns out I am done with Dreamweaver MX in school. I will have my final project on Tuesday. (You'll remember I don't go to school on Mondays.) After that, it's on to Quark Xpress... a very important program for me to learn.

But in the meantime, I get to work on the blog portion of my site, making it fit in with the rest of the new design. How cool is that?!?

As funny as the title of this post may sound, it's really quite serious... and true! There are plenty of starving children and adults right here in our own country. Why not help feed them... for FREE!

My Dream... Not Yet

Mood: hurried

I failed to detail my dream yesterday, as promised. I took a nap instead. Even though I should have been working. But I did get some good work done after my nightly call to Bella.

I'll be in a rush this afternoon. I will have to leave school early. I have to finish a client's web site this afternoon. He's been extremely patient as it is.

Well, gotta go. Hopefully it won't be as hot today. (It's been in the 90's and even over 100°!)

School Web Site

My teacher has recruited me to try to improve the school web site's Google ranking. This was as a result of my showing her some of my other web designs and telling her I once considered taking my business in the direction of web site promotion.

After a preliminary analysis of the web site, I found several key problems that can help improve the ranking. When I get a chance, I'll have to go over some of the things with my teacher.

In other news, I had a bad dream last night. I will go into more detail about it later, but it left me feeling sad this morning. (Briefly, it involved my breaking Bella's heart.) Though I'm feeling better now, I really, really miss Bella!!!
